About Me

Hello, all! As you may have noted from the sidebar, my name is Alexandra. I’m a university student (major: International Studies) moonlighting as a book blogger. I love hearing other people’s opinions on the books I read, so please do drop me a comment after my reviews and let me know your take on things. Or, if you prefer, find me on twitter at bookingitup, shoot me an e-mail at bookingitup@gmail.com, or check out my goodreads profile here. Happy readings!

Review Policy

I am always happy for opportunities to review books, and I greatly appreciate your thinking of me. I will review books of any genre with the exception of romance/paranormal romance – I’ve never been a fan of romance novels, so I could pretty much already tell you what my review would be for books of that genre. Outside of traditional books, I also own a kindle and am happy to review e-books. I will also review audiobooks, but I prefer traditional/kindle format when available. It generally takes 4-8 weeks from receiving a book to read & review, but if there is a certain date you need the review by I am happy to try and meet that request. If you’re interested in having me review a book, send me an e-mail at bookingitup@gmail.com with the details.

Thanks!

  1. Just wondering if you will be accepting books for review in the future? I have one you might be interested in, and I’d really appreciate an honest review. 🙂

    1. Yes, I will absolutely be accepting books for review. In fact, you just reminded me to post my review policy. 🙂 What’s the genre?

      1. Oh – that’s terrific news! It’s science fiction, of a sort. More people-based than spaceships-and-robots based, if you know what I mean. Soft sci-fi.

      2. That sounds right up my alley! Fantasy is admittedly my favorite genre, but I’m pretty sure I know exactly what you mean about “people-based” science fiction, and I’m quite fond of it as well.
